OSA SPRING MEETING TO GIVE DIGITAL + DICOM UPDATE

March 26, 2024

E-Health strategy in optometry and ophthalmology, plus news of the initiatives the OSA will be focusing on in 2024, are top of the agenda for the Spring OSA Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 20 March at Euston, London.

The Digital Eyecare Alliance, Frames Directory, Green Charter, plus updates on DICOM and MHRA regulations will also be covered in the meeting.

A 100% Optical show review – with plans for the 2025 event – will be delivered by Media 10 Director Marlon Cera-Merle, and it is the best opportunity to have your say on how you would like to take the major optical event forward.

Karl Jeebaun, OSA Director, is encouraging optical businesses with an interest in E-Health to make sure they attend –

“Now is a formative time for establishing the way we are moving forward, with one voice.  Most of the major players are OSA members, but if your business is yet to join you might like to come along on 20th March as see how important it is to engage collectively.”

The OSA has some 70 members embracing the breadth of the optical supply chain, and reflecting that, there will be presentations on a new frame directory, and an insight into one member company’s sustainability journey – delivered by Anna Williams, Hoya’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.

Roy Stoner, OSA Chair, also encouraged members to attend –

“OSA meetings are a great forum for generating ideas to work together on so many issues – they are the best networking opportunities for suppliers.”
