OSA MDR Meeting – Wednesday 17 November

The OSA MDR forum met last month to discuss the OSA response to the MHRA Consultation on the future regulation of medical devices in the UK. They will be doing so again on Wednesday 17 November, and the meeting will be chaired by Ann Blackmore.

Ann notes ‘This is an extensive consultation which covers all aspects of the manufacture, distribution and sale of medical devices. It will inform decisions on how to update UK regulations and guidance and it will also help decide how closely UK regulations mirror those in Europe and elsewhere. That is why it is so important that OSA members contribute to the OSA response – to make sure that their experience, expertise and concerns inform the MHRA’s decisions on the route to take.”
