OSA AUTUMN MEETING TO REVEAL 100% PLANS

September 30, 2022

100% Optical 2023 planning is high on the agenda at the autumn Optical Suppliers’ Association (OSA) meeting which will take place on Wednesday 19 October at Friends House, Euston, London between 11am and 3pm.

Opportunities for exhibitors at the leading UK show will be outlined with advice on how best to optimise next February’s national event.  With much of the show space already booked Nathan Garnett of Media 10 – the show organisers – will be revealing the floor plan for the three day event. He is keen to hear suggestions from exhibitors as to how they would like the show to move forward in 2023, as Roy Stoner, Vice-Chair of OSA explained –

“This is an opportunity to have your say as to what you would like 100% Optical to be like – we hope that there will be a good showing of OSA members at the meeting on 19 October and that we can have an open forum discussion about making 100% even more significant for the optical industry and profession.”

Sustainability, environmental issues and the OSA’s Green Charter will also be discussed. The next steps with MHRA and the Opticians’ Act are on the agenda, plus a proposal for a new courier service will be put forward for members to consider.

“Our autumn meeting is the best opportunity to get together and talk through ideas and concerns amongst industry colleagues within the various focus groups which are dedicated to frames, lenses, technology and E-Health. We hope to see a good gathering at Friends House, with OSA members invited to bring a colleague along,” added Roy.
