With 100% Optical 2025 under two weeks away, we wanted to remind members of advantages available on the OSA stand (T8).
Marketing
Please remember you can contact the OSA PR Consultant Janice English on janice@janiceenglish.com who will be compiling press releases to the optical press, the OSA website and social media in the run up to the show about the OSA and its members at 100%. You can also contact the marketing team at 100% Optical for any marketing assistance you would like for your company’s stand before, during and after the show through the 100% Optical media network on celsa@100percentoptical.com and/or marketing@100percentoptical.com.
Meeting Rooms
There are two meeting rooms available on the OSA Stand. One can hold 3 people and the slightly larger one can hold 4-5 people. These will be available for OSA members use exclusively. If you would like to book one over the course of the three days, please contact mmacritchie@osa-uk.co.uk now or simply book at the show.
Green Charter
Members are encouraged to learn more about the Green Charter which will see its launch at the show. Come to the dedicated area of the OSA stand for advice on how your company can begin your sustainability journey using the Green Charter.
Presentation and Lecture timetable
Many OSA members took the opportunity to sponsor a presentation or lecture on the stand and the 2025 will see a great mix of topics. See the full list here – bit.ly/3X2zI3u. There are two OSA sponsored CPD presentations this year – Dr Alicia Thompson will give a CPD lecture on Saturday on inclusive paediatric dispensing and Prof Bruce Evans’ CPD presentation will be Eye care for schoolchildren: Myopia, binocular vision, dyslexia on Sunday. The list of talks on the stand is attached – we hope to see as many as possible of you there.
Mumsnet Survey Results
Members will be aware of the OSA, ABDO and College sponsored survey into discussions on Children’s Eye Health. The majority of results from this survey will be available by 100% Optical and there will be a discussion panel on the OSA stand on Monday at 1.00pm.
Refreshments on the stand
100% will be buzzing over the three days so if you need to take a break from you company stand (or your visit to the show if you are not exhibiting), OSA members can simply come to the OSA stand for a free tea/coffee/water at any point.
OSA Members’ drinks reception – 4.30PM – Saturday 1 March
After a busy first day at the show, the Chair and Board would be delighted to welcome as many members as possible to the OSA Stand for the opportunity to enjoy some drinks and catch up with colleagues and friends from 4.30pm on Saturday. This is available to member exhibitors and members vising the show. We look forward to seeing you there.
We hope to see as many of our members as possible at 100% Optical to take advantage of all the fantastic networking, knowledge and industry information it has to offer.
If OSA members have any questions or comments about any aspect of OSA or 100% Optical, please do not hesitate to contact Marianne on mmacritchie@osa-uk.co.uk or the OSA Chair Roy Stoner on rstoner@osa-uk.co.uk.
