A record number of OSA member companies have made the coveted OPTICIAN Awards shortlist for 2025 and are eagerly awaiting the results. Representing the broad spectrum of optical businesses, which make running an optometry or ophthalmology clinic possible, the members include providers of frames and lenses, diagnostic technology, plus finance support providers.
Roy Stoner, OSA Chair, celebrated the broad scope of the trade body’s membership –
“One of the many strengths of the OSA is the fact that it embraces every aspect of optics, and our members gain great insight to the overall optical landscape thanks to our open, collaborative, nature. Some of our members have entered the Awards for the first time, and are thrilled to be nominated, while other finalists know how tough the competition is, and are returning for success this year. We wish all businesses well and look forward to celebrating with the winners.
“Selected from some 250 entries across all the categories, it is quite an accolade to have so many shortlisted companies. We are all eagerly awaiting the results being announced at the OPTICIAN Awards on 13th December,” he said.
Apart from the OSA finalist companies, these businesses’ innovations provide a significant element of the practice-leading technology within the shortlisted optical practices, singled out for the advanced patient care that they are providing.
